Glade Spring Volunteer Fire Department is now a licensed Advanced Life Support Non-Transport agency. We currently have an ALS package on three (3) of our apparatuses.

Soon, GSVFD will be dispatched alongside the Life Saving Crew on all EMS calls.  At this time, we are available at the request of any agency.

We currently have 1 First Responder, 10 EMT Basics, 1 EMT Enhanced, and 1 EMT-Intermediate.  We have several members enrolled in ALS classes, with several others testing for First Responder, as well as 2 members about to begin an EMT-B class this fall.

If you find yourself nearby, come on in and say hi.  We'd love nothing more to show you around the station, and answer any questions you may have.

See you soon!
